Derek is a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute and has worked in the insurance industry as an adjuster and agent since 2003.
When not helping client’s with their insurance needs, Derek can be found coaching youth football and basketball teams throughout the Roanoke Valley. In addition to coaching youth sports, he also serves as the Vice President of the Troutville Booster Club.
Derek currently resides in Botetourt County with his wife Christina and sons Ryan and Declan.
